Last week I was part of the first annual Data Driven Conference put on by Community Research Partners. The conference focused on helping non-profits and other groups use data more effectively in decision making and presentation. I spoke on a panel with one of the CRP staff and a cartography professor from OSU and our presentation focused on the technology of data visualization.
The full day conference was attended by over 200 local and regional data “geeks” and panelists presented on data collection, data visualization and using data effectively. The full presentations are available on the CRP website.
Below is a run down of the technologies I covered as well as the full presentation.
